i) URL Forwarding |

|

|
If you have an existing website
address
(eg.www.yourprovider.com/users/yourname/) and
would like to present as yourname.biz-hour.com.sg
[where yourname is your register account],
then you may like to conside this services.
It is a cost free and annoying ad free URL forwarding service. |

ii) Dynamic IP

If your computer is connected
via DSL, it is likely that you have a dynamic IP address that changes fairly frequently.
This can be a problem if you want other people to access your computer.
For example, if you run a web server on your own computer, you have to tell people your
dynamic IP address every time it changes, so that they could type it into their web
browser.
With a static hostname (yourname.biz-hour.com.sg) from Biz-Hour's dynamic IP service, you
give people an easy-to-remember name that always stays contactable.

If you have purchased an IP
camera and would like to view your home through Internet (see
diagram), then this service can help you.
For example, to view your home, just enter yourname.biz-hour.com.sg and the service will
forward you to your IP Camera
Note : In order to configure this setup, you need our engineer from Biz-Hour to configure
your broadband router and IP Camera. |

How to configure
the service ? |

1) Decide on which
services you want to use : |
|
2) At the top menu,
click on the "Free SignUp" tab |
|
3) At the left
menu, click on the "My Web" |
|
4) When prompt to
login, key in your ID and Password |
|
5) At the selection
of services' screen, click on radio button for your choice
and click Submit
button when ready. |
|

Note : Only the
"URL Forwarding" requires you to key in your
existing web's URL. |

How to setup
Dynamic IP Forwarding services ? |
|
|
|
1) Download the UpdateIP.exe on your
server. |
|
2) Install the
UpdateIP software on your server. |
|
3) At the
UpdateIP's screen, select Setup tab. |
|
4) At the Setup
tab's screen, key in : |
|
|
a) Key in Login ID and Password
(as your registered Biz-Hour ID and Password)
b) Set the Interval (default is 60 sec)
c) Select the protocol.
d) Key in the Port number
The Port number
allows alphanumeric input,
(eg. 8081/home [
where home is folder name])
e) When finished, click save button. |

5) Next click on
Process tab and click Start button. |
|
6) The system will
start to update the IP address to yourname.biz-hour.com.sg
(where yourname
is your register Biz-Hour account) |
|
7) Check the
Dynamic IP whether is it the same as your router IP,
if not go back to the Setup and
change the next Protocol and repeat step 5.
